Editorial standards

How we research, review and correct what we publish, and how we label AI-generated images.

Who is responsible

Every piece in Insights is published by Motion & Gain, which holds editorial responsibility for it. Each piece is reviewed, edited and approved by our editor before it is published. You can reach the editorial team at info@motionandgain.com.

How we source

  • Every number, quote and claim about a named company is linked to the page it comes from, in the text where it is used.
  • We prefer official statistics, company filings and research with a published method. Figures from vendors or other interested parties are labelled as such.
  • Charts are drawn by us from the published numbers, credit their source and link to a CSV of the data behind them. We do not reproduce other publishers' text or charts.
  • Our own calculations and estimates are marked "Motion & Gain analysis", with the method stated.
  • Search-interest figures from Google Trends are relative interest (0–100), not search volumes, and are described that way.

AI-generated images

The hero images on Insights are created with generative AI tools. They illustrate the idea of a piece; they do not show real people, places or events.

Each AI-generated image carries an AI GENERATED label where it first appears: on the article page, in article listings, in our emails and in the preview image shown when a piece is shared. It is also marked as AI-generated in the page's machine-readable data (schema.org digitalSourceType: TrainedAlgorithmicMediaDigitalSource), in line with Article 50 of the EU AI Act.

Corrections

If you spot an error, email info@motionandgain.com. We correct factual errors promptly, update the piece's modified date, and note significant corrections in the piece.

For search engines and AI assistants

Pieces are published with structured data (schema.org), a full-text RSS feed, a sitemap, an llms.txt index, and a Markdown copy of every piece (add .md to its address, or see llms-full.txt). Please quote with attribution and a link to the piece.

Insights pieces are analysis, not legal, financial or investment advice.
